Deactivate and Reactivate Parent Profiles

Carer/Guardian/Emergency Contacts

Overview

When a child leaves your service, you may also need to deactivate any parent profiles/emergency contacts they are associated with (unless there are still other siblings or relations still attending the service).

Deactivating Parents

💡 Deactivated Parents will still be able to log in to the web portal to see posts and information about their child

From the Profile page

  1. Find the parent using the profile search, or with a quick link tag in the child's profile
  2. Click on the red Deactivate button in the top right corner

From View all Carers/Guardians list

  1. Go to Children > Manage Carers/Guardians
  2. Change the filter to All Current Carers/Guardians/Emergency Contacts
  3. Click Get Report
  4. Enter the parent's name in the search filter
  5. Click the red Deactivate button on the right

Reactivating Parents

From the Profile page

  1. Find the parent using the profile search, or with a quick link tag in the child's profile
  2. Click on the blue Reactivate button in the top right corner

From View all Carers/Guardians list

  1. Go to Children > Manage Carers/Guardians
  2. Change the filter to All Previous Carers/Guardians/Emergency Contacts
  3. Click Get Report
  4. Enter the parent's name in the search filter
  5. Click the green Reactivate button on the right
