Session Reports - Submitting Attendances / Sessions
💡 Each week, you need to submit your Attendance Sessions to the CCS Department so that Payment of Child Care Subsidy is made. This needs to be submitted by Sunday 9 pm at the latest.

Auto Submit Sessions (Recommended)

When Auto Submit Sessions is activated, OWNA will submit attendances from 10 PM onwards every Friday (this may vary depending on CCS Department scheduled maintenance).
- Go to 💻CCSS > Session Reports
- Toggle the Auto Submit button to be ON (Green)
If there is an error or discrepancy when submitting for a particular child, the system will skip that child and continue.
You will be notified by email to your Centre Email address:
When attendances have been submitted successfully
- If Submission has failed (One more attempt will be made to submit automatically)
Manual Checks
Run the Weekly Attendance Fee Report every week if you want to confirm if sessions were submitted (or not) to the department.
If an attendance still needs to be submitted, it will have a red (x) icon and a blue arrow - click the blue arrow to submit the attendance.
Manually Submit Session Reports

- Go to 💻 CCSS > Session Reports
- Under the heading Submit Sessions Report, select Week Starting (must be a Monday)
- Click on All Children (or select a single child from the list instead)
- Enter a reason for late submission (if greater than 14 days ago)
- Click on Submit Session Report
Attendance Warnings
The attendance warning will let you know if there is missing or incorrect data in the attendance information. E.g. no sign in or out times, times are outside session of care, multiple sessions, etc.
💡Warnings are not the same as Errors and do not prevent you from submitting attendances!
View Submitted Sessions Reports
View the Attendances Sessions which have been submitted, as well as their current status:
- Go to 💻 CCSS > Session Reports
- Under the heading View Submitted Sessions Report, select Week Starting (must be a Monday)
- Select the period ending (must be a Sunday)
- Select a child or view for All Children (default)
- Select a Submission Status (current or withdrawn) or view All Submissions
- Click Get Sessions Report
Withdraw Submitted Session Reports
If Attendances Data was submitted for a Child who was not in your care (for the entire week), you can Withdraw this attendance. If you only need to change the days they attended for the week, use the Update function.
- Run the Submitted Sessions Report
- Click the Withdraw button for the week you want to withdraw
- Rerun the report to ensure the status has changed with Withdrawn
- If this doesn't work, remove the Late Reason at the bottom of the list and try again
