Importing Family Accounts

Overview

1. Update Billing Preferences

💻 Families > Families/Accounts > Billing Structure (tab)

This section controls whether families should be in advanced (with or without estimating), in areas (recommended by the department), or a combination of both. There are also a number of configurations relating to who pays merchant fees on transactions, the ability for parents to make payments manually from the app, and automatic billing.

2. Extract Family Accounts From Previous Software

If you are using any of the following providers, open the export guide and refer to the section on exporting Family Accounts. These can be sent to your Onboarding representative who can format and upload the data for you.

If you're not using one of these platforms, we essentially need a report that has all your account names on it. If you can find a report with Account names and Parent / Child Names, please send that and we may be able to link your accounts as well.

3. Complete Family Account Setup

Only basic information will be uploaded, such as the family account name, balance, and bond. You will need to complete the process by linking the correct parent and child profiles to each account, auto billing settings, and family account tags. Parents will also need to sign the DDR Form after you invite them to use the app.
