Room Blockout Dates

Overview
This feature allows an Admin to add 'blockout' dates to one or more Rooms. This will remove existing attendances and prevent new attendances from being generated/booked for that date.
💡 This can be used to close Rooms (e.g. Before and After School Care) during school holidays or all rooms during end-of-year closures where the centre does not charge regular bookings.
Adding Blockout Dates
- Go to Blockout Dates from the Manage Rooms page
- Select the Rooms you want to block out
- Select a date range or pick multiple individual dates
- Enter the reason you are blocking the date
- Click Blockout Date(s)
- If attendances for the date(s) already exist, you can refresh Weekly Attendances to clear them
Manage Blockout Dates
- Go to Blockout Dates from the Manage Rooms page
- By default, you will only see recent and upcoming blockout dates;
- Update the report by selecting room and/or date filters and then click Get Report
- You can delete future blockout dates using the Delete button, then refresh the Weekly Attendances for that week
