State Funding Setup

Start Strong and Kinder Funding (NSW / QLD / VIC / ACT)

Important Points

  • The system will automatically limit the weekly credit amount if it is more than the weekly gap fees (including CCS)!
  • Enter the Week Starting Date to prevent the system from backdating credits!
  • Now includes ACR Set up for Success Funding (released Dec 2023)

How To Identify Eligible Children

💡 Report on the age of each child as of the date entered

💻 Reports > Export Children/Parent Data

  1. Select a date under the heading View Children (DOB at Specified Date)
  2. Click View Children

Setup and Apply Credits

💻 Billing > State Funding Setup

  1. Enter the weekly amount for each child (e.g. the full amount divided by the number of weeks open)
  2. Enter the Week Starting - this is the date you want to apply the credits from!
  3. Click Apply to Children

 💡Credits are applied when balancing (rebatching) or generating invoices from the date you enter in the setup screen!

Backdating/Reapplying Kindy Funding

  1. Correct the amount and date in the 'Govt. Fee Relief Set-up' page
  2. Remove existing funding amounts from the Family Transactions (using the red x next to each line item)
  3. Rebatch Attendances/Payments back to the SUNDAY of the week needed and then rebatch each Sunday moving forward til your current week

Stopping and Removing Fee Relief Credits

  1. Remove the weekly credit amount and date from the State Funding Setup page next to the child's name - Click Apply to Children
    • This stops any future credits from being applied
  2. In the Family Transactions screen, find any transaction listed as a "Fee Relief Payment" and click the red x to delete them


Blockout Weeks

  1. Select the start date for the week you don't want kindy funding applied to
  2. Click Block out Week
  3. Repeat the process for each week you want to block out
  4. After refreshing the page, blocked-out weeks will appear underneath
