About the handbook
The Child Care Provider Handbook is written for providers of early learning and child care who are, or are interested in applying to be, approved under the Family Assistance Law.
The handbook provides information for providers to assist them in understanding the processes relating to approval, enrolment of children and payment of Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy. It outlines a provider’s obligations and responsibilities as part of those processes and as part of their ongoing approval under the Family Assistance Law.
The handbook is intended to provide high-level guidance and is not intended to be a substitute for reading and understanding Family Assistance Law.
