Not Receiving Emails from OWNA
Troubleshooting Steps
Overview
Several factors can prevent emails from being delivered to your inbox. In this guide we will go through a couple of steps to try and help you receive emails from OWNA.

1. Check your Spam folder or Junk Mail filter
This may seem like an obvious one, but often, emails can get automatically flagged as potential spam when mail providers send a lot of emails regularly. If you find one of our emails in your junk mail filter, mark it as 'safe' and 'not junk'.
2. Outlook Safe Sender
Outlook uses advanced algorithms to filter out potential junk mail even before it gets to your junk mail filters. To prevent this from blocking emails from OWNA, make sure you add our email and/or domain to your safe sender list.
3. Managed/Custom Domains
If you have a custom domain (e.g. [email protected]), there could be settings with your DNS (domain name server) preventing emails from being delivered. If this is the case, you will need to contact your IT team (or whoever configured your email/inbox) and get them to allow emails from OWNA.
4. Email Suppression
Our system will stop sending emails to your address if there is a complaint (marked as spam), unsubscribe, or an email bounced (e.g. mailbox full/could not be delivered). If so, you can create a helpdesk ticket for our support team to remove you from the suppression list.
However, if the underlying cause is not resolved, your address will likely get suppressed again in the future.
