Creating a new PRODA B2B Device & Connecting it to OWNA
ONLY AUTHORISED PERSONS CAN DO THIS
- Your Organisation must first be registered with PRODA. You need to apply for CCS Approval from the appropriate government bodies before you can proceed with this guide.
- Correct access must be provided by the Service Owner in order to complete these steps. This access may also need to be periodically renewed for ongoing access.

Steps for PRODA:
Step 1 - Register New Device
1. Login to PRODA: Click here to go to login page
2. Click on Organisations

3. Click on the name of the Organisation you wish to register with

4. Click on B2B Devices - this will allow you to Register a new device

Step 2 - Device Details
1. Enter a Device Name
- The name needs to be descriptive enough so you can recognise the device's purpose or what service transactions it’s performing
- The device name must be unique to your organisation in PRODA. The name can contain the following characters:
- alphabetic
- numeric
- underscores
- hyphens
- full stops
- no spaces.
2. Enter a Description (Optional)
3. Click Register Device


💡 IMPORTANT!
Once the device is registered, you will get a unique Device Activation Code valid for 7 days.Â
- Record this code as it is not stored!
- The Device Activation Code, Device Name & PRODA RA are crucial and will need to be copied exactly over to OWNA
- Once you’ve activated your device, it’s active for 6 months. You’ll need to reactivate your B2B device with PRODA at least every 6 months
Step 3 - Provider and Service IDs
1. Click on Services in top right corner

2. Click on Child Care provider entry point

3. Click Actions and then select on the Provider

4. Copy the Provider ID. These details are crucial and will need to be copied exactly over to the OWNA Platform

5. Now press switch and go to the Service one

6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 except copy the Service ID and Person ID


Steps for Entering the Details in OWNA
1. Log in to OWNA and go to CCSS > CCS Settings
2. Enter your Device Activation Code, Device Name, and Service Details
3. Click Update PRODA Info
4. Go to the Provider's Details tab and Service's Details tab to check these have been automatically populated

💡Troubleshooting Tip:
- Cycling through the Provider's Details and/or Service's Details tabs will open an 'active connection' to CCS, which is sometimes needed to check and update the CCMS user information.
