Child with 2 Primary Carers

💡 On occasion, you may have a child who has two CRN's and two primary contacts, we will use the scenario of ChildA (Parent1/Mum) and ChildB (Parent2/Dad) for the purpose of explaining below however both Children should be submitted with their respective Primary Contact.

Creating ChildA Profile

  1. Set up ChildA as you would set up any child.  

Edit ChildA Profile Details

  1. Ensure the attendances of the child reflects the Child's planned attendances with that parent.
  2. Ensure that Parent1/Mum is the primary contact for the Child.

Enter ChildA's CCS Information

1. Select the Arrangement Type

2. Enter First Child CRN

3. (If applicable) Tick if the Child is attending Kindergarten or Preschool Program at the Service

4. Click on Update CCS Details for Child

5. Create an Enrolment to CCS for Child



Creating ChildB Profile

1. Before setting up ChildB, Edit ChildA and add a Suffix to the Child's name. (i.e. Child Name (Mum)) you have just Submitted to CCS. This allows for you to create another child with the same name and DOB.

2. Set up ChildB as you would set up any child.

Edit ChildB Profile Details

1. Ensure the attendances of the child reflect ChildA's planned attendances

2. Ensure that Parent2/Dad is the primary contact for the Child.

Enter ChildB's CCS Information

1. Select the Arrangement Type

2. Enter ChildB CRN

3. (If applicable) Tick if Child is attending Kindergarten or Preschool Program at the Service

4. Click on Update CCS Details for Child

5. Create an Enrolment to CCS for ChildB


Once Children are set up

  1. Edit the names of the children to reflect the link to different parents. This will help in identifying the children. i.e. Child Name (Dad), Child Name (Mum)
