Restrict Staff Access To OWNA

Overview

Admin users can configure portal and app availability for staff, preventing them from logging in and accessing information outside the permitted times.

šŸ’”Admin and Parent users will still have unrestricted access at all times!

How To Configure

šŸ’» ConfigureĀ > Service Info > App Details (tab)

  1. Set the start and end time for each day that you want to ALLOW access
  2. For days where no access should be given, set both times to '00:00'
  3. If you don't want to restrict access, leave the times empty (click the red x to clear times)
  4. Click Update Accessible Days/Times

FAQ

Q: Will staff still be able to view their roster and staff messageboard?

A: No. If you would like to have a separate app for staff management, check out erly.app.

Q: What if someone is logged in as a staff and parent on the app?

A: Staff will have the option to switch to their parent profile, which will still allow them to access the app.

Q: Can I set multiple available times for the same day?
A: No, you can only have one set of times per day.

Q: What will staff see while access is restricted?

A: Staff will see a message that their access is restricted with a counter showing them when access will be restored.
