Children Goals

This feature allows educators to create goals for individual children, plan out steps to achieve the goal, track their progress, and share the goals with families.

👆 Only Educators can created goals, parents/guardians can not do this action.

💻 Children > Child Goals

1. Click the + in the top right corner
2. Select a child from the dropdown
3. Click Select
4. Enter goal details
5. Click Add Goals

Goals can consist of more than one sub-goals or steps. You can click Add Another Goal to add additional steps, each one can be completed individually using the checkbox beside it.

While writing a post in the web portal or app, first tag the child(ren) in your post. Then select the Goals using the Child Goals field or Trophy icon. Posts tagging the child's goals are visible when viewing the Goals. 

📱 Parents and Educators can view goals in the app:

1. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner.
2. Click on the child's name
3. Click on the ellipsis (3 dots) button in the top right corner
4. Click on View Child's Goals

1. Click the edit button next to a goal
2. Tick the checkboxes for each sub-goal to complete individual components
3. Change the Status dropdown to Completed
4. Click Update Child's Goals

Archiving goals allows you to remove unfinished goals in the event a child leaves or doesn't choose to see it through to completion.

1. Select the goals you would like to archive (using the checkboxes)
2. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Archive Goals

• You can restore an archived goal by editing/updating it.
