Child Relationship/Permissions

The Relationships/Permissions tab in a child's profile controls who is linked to the child and what actions they can perform or what content they can see.
If a parent says they are unable to view details from their child in the app, it is likely they haven't been linked correctly to the child (check for duplicate parent accounts) or they have not yet been assigned any permissions.

Adding/Removing Relationships
Add
- Go to the Relationship/Permissions tab in the child's profile
- Find the next blank dropdown (-select-) in the first column
- Start typing a name to narrow the list of available options
- Select the new relation
- In the second column, select how they are related from the list of available options
- Assign them Permissions (see below for more details)
- Click Update Family
Remove
- Select the person's name in the first column
- Change the selection back to the default (-select-) at the top of the list
- Do the same for relation and permission
- Click Update Family
Updating Permissions
- Select a relationship to the child and permission for each person linked to the child:
- Full Access - Can see all details about child (except billing)
- App Access Only - Can see general posts relating to child (no child profile or daily info)
- Sign in/out Only - Can sign the child in/out via Public Mode kiosk and see general community posts in the app
- Click Update Family

Emergency Contact Checkbox
⚠️ Parent One and Parent Two are First-Point-of-Contact by default!
The Emergency Contact checkbox should only be used for parents who are NOT Parent One or Parent Two. If you tick the box for these contacts, they will be removed as emergency contacts instead.
- If Parent Two is not the Mother or Father, then you can tick the box if you don't want them used as an emergency contact
- For additional contacts (after Parent One & Parent Two) tick the box to make them an emergency contact so their details are available in reports and in the app.
