Changing Child Start (Active From) Date
When a child starts at your service, you will often be entering their profile before they are meant to start. However, there may be some instances where you need to change the start (active from) date so they can attend sooner or later than the original date.
Starting Soon
If the original start date hasn't yet passed, you can update the Child's Active From Date by going to the Room/Current Day(s) Enrolled tab in their profile.
- Enter a new date (must be a future date)
- Click Update Active From Date

💡 The Child's Official Start Date is just for your own records. This may vary from the Active date if the child is returning to care.
Already Active
If the original start date has already passed and the child is now active, you can use these steps to return them to Starting Soon status:
- Deactivate the child's profile (top right corner of their profile)
- Go to their Attendances quick link and delete any past attendances (future attendances will be removed automatically)
- Click on Back to Profile in the quick links
- Go to the Room/Current Day(s) Enrolled tab
- Enter the new Active From date (must be a future date)
- Click Reactivate Child (top right corner of their profile)
Can't Find The Active From Date
This field is now located in the Room/Current Day(s) Enrolled tab of the child's profile. This field is hidden unless their status is Deactivated or Starting Soon.
- If you have just deactivated the child profile, navigate to another page first and load the profile again
