Changing the Primary Carer On CCS Enrolment
Overview
- The parent has said they haven't been able to confirm the enrolment in their Centrelink app
- The enrolment status says Pending Eligibility (in the CCS Enrolment Status quick link from the child's profile)
Step 1: Change the parent order in OWNA
- Go to the child's profile and click on the Relationships/Permissions Tab
- Use the dropdown to select the correct parent in the Primary Carer position (and change the second parent as well so both parents remain linked to the child)
- Click Update Family


Step 2: Remove the existing Enrolment Id
Once submitted, the details of the child and primary carer can't be updated, so you will need to remove this enrolment Id and submit a new enrolment to CCS:
- Go to the child's profile and click on the CCS tab
- Click on the CCS Enrolment ID field and delete the text (backspace)
- Click Update CCS Details for Child

Step 3: Create a new Enrolment to CCS
- Enter an Effective From date for your new enrolment
- Enter a late reason if the date was more than 7 days ago ('Admin Error' is usually the most applicable reason you should use)
- Click Create new Enrolment to CCS

Step 4: You may need to submit their past attendances again
If the child has already been attending, their previous sessions/attendances would have been submitted under their old enrolment Id. If this is the case, you will need to submit them again now that you have a new enrolment Id so that they can receive CCS for them.
- Go to CCSS > Weekly Attendance Fee
- Click on the checkbox 'CCS Submissions Error Only
- Select the Monday of each week and click Get Attendance Fee
- Click on the blue arrow next to the child's name to submit (repeat for each week they have attended prior to this week)
