⚠️ When a Device is in Public Mode - Turn OFF app notification on the device!
💡 Only Admins can put the app in Public Mode unless you allow staff in App Configuration!
Public Mode is an app screen that allows families to sign their children in/out (using their unique PIN). This can also be used for staff, responsible person, and visitor sign-ins. Your centre's Curriculum Program, QIP, and Document/Policies can also be accessed from this screen so that they are publicly available for anyone who enters your service.
Setting up Public Mode
- Log in to the app with your username and password (this can be done as a staff or admin user)
- Go to the settings cog icon ⚙️
- Select 'Public Mode'
Using Public Mode
Returning to the Educator App
In order to go back to the normal app screen, you need to use the 'secret knock'.
- Tap three times in the top right corner of the screen (usually underneath the battery power level indicator)
- Enter your PIN Code
- Press OK
