Program Post (Custom Program)

Overview

Programs created using the Programming Templates have a toggle to 'Show in Timeline'. Once enabled, will create an automated post with the Program and Experience details that also links back to the View Program Details page.

Post Content

The Program post will contain the following information:

  • Program Name
  • Week Commencing
  • Goals
  • Topic(s)
  • Programming Matrix/Experience Details
  • Children tagged (based on room selection)
  • Tagged Achievements/Learning Outcomes
  • Program Attachments

When filling out your experience templates in the Programming Matrix, the following information is included in the post:

  • Category/Interest(s)
  • Column Headings
  • Any fields that are marked as being 'visible to parents' (in the Experience Template) that content entered

Updating Post Content

When you make changes to your program, the post will only be updated if you check the box to Update the Timeline Post.

Leaving this option unticked will allow you to work on and update the program without constantly pushing the post to the top of the posts feed.
