Learning Documents - Field Mapping
Overview
Field mapping is a code entered into a Learning Document field to link it to a specific location in the OWNA database that is linked to specific functionality (e.g. displaying content in a post or referencing other records such as children, frameworks, or tags).
Every input field in your template must be unique. It can be mapped to store the data within a specific field within the database. We do this so that at a later point in time we can run reports on the data captured. So while you can add multiple upload fields, only one of them can be mapped to 'media', which allows the uploads to be displayed in the post.
Any Text Area Control with a "Show In Post" property does not need a field mapping as long as the Show In Post is checked.
