Assign Focus Children to Staff

Overview

Educators can select focus children from a separate list when writing posts and observations. They can also be used for reporting on child portfolios and posts.

How to assign focus children

💻 Staff > Manage Staff

  1. Click on the educator's name to open their profile
  2. Go to the Access & Permissions tab
  3. Select children to assign (hold Ctrl while clicking to keep the selector open)
  4. Click Update Staff Details

💡Start typing the name of a room or child to filter the list!

Filter focus children in the app

📱 ➕ > Create Post

  1. Open child selector
  2. Open the filter dropdown ("All")
  3. Select Focus Group from the Rooms
  4. Press Filter

View focus children portfolio posts

💻 Posts > Child Portfolios 

  1. Open the All Rooms filter and select a Staff Focus Group
  2. Adust date range (optional)
  3. Click Get Matrix Report
