Staff Messageboard

Overview

The Staff Messageboard is an internal communication tool that allows staff and management to collaborate, share updates, and communicate privately within the service.

Staff will receive both an in-app notification and a push notification when a new post is made to the Staff Messageboard.

Posting to the Messageboard

From the Web Portal

  1. Write your message
  2. Optional - select from any of the post features
  3. Click Post Message

From the App

šŸ“±Ā Actions Menu > Staff Messageboard
  1. Select the āž• in the top right corner
  2. Write your message
  3. Optional - add images, tag staff, tag rooms, mark as announcement

  4. Select the āžœ in the top right corner to post

Post Options / Features

File Upload
Allows attachments to be added to a post. Please refer to ourĀ Uploading AttachmentsĀ guide for information on supported file types and attachment limits.


Post to Room
Adds a room tag to the post, allowing staff to filter the Messageboard and quickly view posts relevant to a specific room only.

āš ļø All staff will still be able to view the post unless specific staff members have been tagged using the Private to Staff option.


Private to Staff
Restricts visibility of the post to only the tagged staff members.

āš ļø Admin users will be able to see all Staff Messageboard posts, even if they have not been tagged.


Schedule Message
Allows a post to be automatically published at a future date and time.


Require Read ConfirmationĀ 
(or tapping the megaphone icon via the app)
When staff check in or out of the centre, either through Public Mode or their own device, the post will appear on screen and they must tap ā€œConfirmā€ before they can continue.

Responding to Posts

Staff can comment on posts to continue discussions or provide updates.
Staff can also react to posts by tapping the heart icon, allowing them to acknowledge updates without needing to leave a comment.
āš ļøĀ Comments and reactions are visible to all staff members who have access to the post.
šŸ’” The staff member who created the post will receive both an in-app notification and a push notification when a comment or reaction is added.
