Manage Additional Access & Permissions

Adding Additional Emergency Contacts

Overview

The Primary Parent/Carer can add additional relationships and/or emergency contacts to their children with Full Access, App Access (just posts), or Sign In/out permission.


This can be done via Parent Portal or the app.

Parent Portal

  1. Go to 💻 Settings > Permissions - Manage Access
  2. Enter their name and contact information
  3. Select their relationship to the child(ren)
  4. Select what permission they should have
  5. Select which children they will be linked to
  6. Tick if they will be indicated as an emergency contact
  7. Click Send Invite

App

  1. Open the family menu (burger icon in the top right corner)
  2. Open your child's profile and go to the Child profile menu (three dots icon)
  3. Select Manage Permissions (if you do not have this option, it may be disabled by the centre)
  4. Press Invite
  5. Select the children who they will be connected to
  6. Enter their name and contact information
  7. Press Send Invite

Invitation

Once the contact has received their app login details, they can log in to the app to update their personal and contact details:

  1. Go to the settings menu ⚙️
  2. Select Manage my Details (enter a contact number and a copy of your ID here)
  3. If they have been given permission to sign the child in and out, they can also use the Reset PIN function to set a new six-digit pin that can be used in the Public Mode kiosk.
