Exporting Timesheets to Xero
Overview
OWNA has an API (direct) integration with Xero, which means that you don't need to export and import a file. Once you click one of the 'Sync' buttons, the information is instantly sent to your Xero Account.
What Gets Synced:
- If you select the Sync Timesheets option, it will export the worked hours per day as indicated in the Export Hours column
- If you select the Sync Roster option, it will export the Rostered Hours minus the Unpaid Lunch.
- Leave requests and leave shifts do not get synced to Xero
Prerequisites
⚠️ Before you can export timesheets to Xero, you must first ensure your employees are fully set up in Xero and that their Employee Code and Earning Rate Id have been synced with their OWNA profile!
⚠️ The user that connects the integration has to have either Standard or Adviser level permissions in Xero!
Process
Once you have checked and amended all shifts, follow these 4 steps to export the timesheets:
