Balance Family Accounts

Overview

Family Accounts need to be balanced to indicate how much money is owed or in credit at a given point in time. This is known as their 'Balance Date' and is usually the end of their latest invoice/billing period.

Balancing All Family Accounts

💻BIlling > Family Accounts

  1. Enter the balance date (e.g. the end of the current or next billing period)
  2. Click Update Family Account Balances

Automatic Balancing

Accounts will be automatically balanced (rebatched) when the following updates occur:

  • CCS Payments are received/retracted
  • Invoices are generated
  • Parent makes a payment via the app
  • A payment is rejected
