Family Making One-Off Payment

Overview

When this feature is enabled, parents/carers linked to the Family Account can make one-off payments via the App. Only Credit Cards can be used to make these ad-hoc payments. From the 17th of January 2024, 'Open' invoices will be regenerated automatically to reflect the credit from the app payment!

Toggle feature ON/OFF

💡 This feature is enabled for all services by default!

💻 Billing > Family Accounts > Billing Structure (tab)

  1. Check the box: Do NOT allow Parents to do One-off Payments on App
  2. Click Update

Complete a one off payment (Parent App)

  1. 📱 Use the hamburger icon in the top left corner (3 horizontal lines) to open the menu
  2. Select Statements/Invoices
  3. Press Make one off Payment
  4. Fill in payment details, amount to pay, and transaction description
  5. Press Make Payment

💡 Good to know:

  • Only parents/carers who are linked to the Family Account can make payments!
  • The Service will receive an email confirmation when one-off payments are made via the app!
  • If the Family wants to pay using Direct Debit details, the Service can process a Manual Payment from the Family Transaction screen!

Payments on Open Invoices

When a parent/carer makes a payment, the most recent 'Open' invoice will be regenerated automatically to reflect the credit from the payment.

  • This will ONLY re-generate invoices in 'Open' status that are less than a week old.
  • This will only re-generate when 'One-off payments' are made. It will not refresh for manually added credits/debits.
